These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Balbir CPA Professional Corporation website at www.balbir.ca, related mobile applications, and the client portal (together, the “Platform”). By using the Platform you agree to these Terms.
Not legal or tax advice
Content published on the Platform—including articles, service descriptions, and updates—is for general information only. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or financing advice and does not create a client relationship. Professional advice is provided only under a separate engagement with Balbir CPA.
Accounts and portal use
You are responsible for keeping portal credentials confidential and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and use the Platform only for lawful purposes related to communicating with Balbir CPA. We may suspend or terminate access that appears abusive, fraudulent, or insecure.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, Platform content is owned by Balbir CPA Professional Corporation. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit content without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing.
Third-party services
The Platform may link to third-party sites or tools (for example WhatsApp or social profiles). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or availability.
Disclaimer and limitation
The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Balbir CPA disclaims warranties regarding uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Ontario or Canadian law.
Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. Courts in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where they apply.
